What you enter stays on your device
CurlewMark runs entirely in your browser. The files, text and details you enter are never sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and we do not store your work. To save you retyping, your watermark settings are kept in this browser's local storage on your device; clearing your browser data removes them.
Anonymous usage statistics
To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites. It records page views and basic technical details such as country, referring site, browser and device type. It never sees what you type or what's in your photos or your watermark text. We don't count clicks or exports.
Error reports
If the app hits an error, it sends an anonymous error report (error text, browser, page, app version). Never anything you type or upload.
A report contains only the error message and where in our code it happened, your browser name and main version (for example "Firefox 131"), the page address without anything after "?" or "#", and the app version. Before anything is sent, the app removes text that could have come from you, such as your watermark text and photo file names, quoted text, email addresses, web addresses and long numbers. It never includes your photos or the watermarked images. Reports contain no IP address, cookies or user ID, and an error's details are deleted automatically once it has not happened again for 90 days.
Advertising
If ads are shown on the free version, the ad provider may use cookies to show and measure ads. Where required, we will ask for your consent first.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and error reports are received by a Cloudflare Worker. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; our error collector does not store it.
