Add a copyright watermark to photos. All of them at once.

Type "© Your Name 2026", pick a corner, and stamp it on a whole batch. Each photo keeps its full size, and the mark scales so it looks the same on every one.

Your photos never leave your device. There's no upload, so there's no waiting either.

    Full resolution

Exports keep the original pixel size. The watermark scales with each photo, so it looks the same on every one.

    Location data removed

Re-encoding drops hidden EXIF metadata such as GPS location and camera serial numbers.

How to add a © copyright watermark

    1. Drop up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP photos on the box above.
    2. Type your watermark text. A common format is © Your Name 2026 or © Studio Name · yoursite.com. On Windows, type © with Alt+0169. On a Mac, press ⌥+G.
    3. Pick a corner. Bottom right is the most common for a copyright line.
    4. Set color, opacity and size. White at 60–80% with the soft shadow on stays readable on light and dark photos.
    5. Click Download all (.zip), or Download this photo for just one.

Does a watermark protect my copyright?

In most countries you own the copyright to photos you take as soon as you take them, with or without a watermark. A visible © line reminds people the image is yours and tells them who to ask. It also makes casual reuse less likely. A small corner mark is easy to crop out, so for proofs you send before payment, use a repeating watermark instead.

    Batch watermark FAQ

What should a copyright watermark say?

Usually the © symbol, your name or business name and the year, for example "© Jordan Lee 2026". Some photographers add their website.

Will the watermark be the same size on every photo?

Yes. Size and margin are set as a percentage of each photo, so the mark looks the same on large and small images.

Should my copyright watermark include the year?

It's common and shows when the photo was made. Use the year the photo was taken. Your watermark text is remembered on this device, so remember to update it when you start on a new year's photos.

    Is it free?

Yes. Watermark up to 20 photos per batch with no signup and no extra branding on your photos.

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything is processed in your browser. The only things ever sent are cookie-free visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, see Privacy) and an anonymous error report if something breaks (error text, browser, page, app version), never anything you type or upload.

    Will my photos lose quality?

Photos keep their original size. JPG and WebP are re-saved at the quality you choose (90 by default). PNG is lossless.

    Which watermark position is best?

A corner mark is subtle. A tiled watermark is much harder to crop or remove, which is better for proofs and previews.

    Does it remove EXIF data?

Yes. Exported images contain only the pixels: no GPS location, camera details or other metadata.
