Repeating watermark for photo proofs. Hard to crop out.
Cover each photo with a diagonal, repeating watermark before you send proofs or previews. Clients can judge the shot, but the image is no use until you send the clean file.

Exports keep the original pixel size. The watermark scales with each photo, so it looks the same on every one.
Location data removed
Re-encoding drops hidden EXIF metadata such as GPS location and camera serial numbers.
How to make tiled proof watermarks
- Drop up to 20 photos on the box above. The position is already set to Tile across the whole photo.
- Type the text to repeat, for example
PROOF · Jordan Lee Photo. - Lower the opacity to about 25–40% so clients can still judge the photo, and turn on the soft shadow so the mark shows on light and dark areas.
- Adjust size to control how many times the text repeats.
- Download all as a ZIP and send the proofs.
When to use a repeating watermark
- Client proofing for weddings, portraits and events, before an order or final payment.
- Previews of stock or print photos you sell.
- Drafts of property or product photos shared before a contract is signed.
A corner watermark can be cropped off in seconds. A tiled watermark crosses the important parts of the picture, so removing it takes real work. For smaller proof files, set Export → Format to JPG with quality around 70–80, and keep the clean full-quality files for paying clients.
For finished photos you publish yourself, a small copyright watermark in a corner is usually enough.
Batch watermark FAQ
What opacity works best for proofs?
Around 25–40%. It's visible enough to stop reuse while clients can still judge expression, focus and color.
Can I tile a logo instead of text?
Not yet. Logo watermarks are planned for Pro. For now, repeat your business name or website as text.
How many photos can I watermark at once?
Up to 20 per batch on the free version. Download the batch, clear it, and start another. There's no limit on the number of batches.
Is it free?
Yes. Watermark up to 20 photos per batch with no signup and no extra branding on your photos.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything is processed in your browser. The only things ever sent are cookie-free visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, see Privacy) and an anonymous error report if something breaks (error text, browser, page, app version), never anything you type or upload.
Will my photos lose quality?
Photos keep their original size. JPG and WebP are re-saved at the quality you choose (90 by default). PNG is lossless.
Which watermark position is best?
A corner mark is subtle. A tiled watermark is much harder to crop or remove, which is better for proofs and previews.
Does it remove EXIF data?
Yes. Exported images contain only the pixels: no GPS location, camera details or other metadata.
